Terms of Service

3.1 Booking Process

All service bookings are subject to availability. We require advance notice to schedule services, and while we will attempt to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to various factors including traffic and prior job completion times.

3.2 Estimates

Any price estimates provided are based on the information you provide to us. Final charges may vary if the actual scope of work differs from what was initially described. We strive to maintain transparent pricing and will communicate any potential changes in cost as soon as possible.

3.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling

We request at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the estimated service cost.

To ensure efficient service, customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about items to be moved and conditions at both pickup and delivery locations
• Ensuring a clear path for movers to work safely and efficiently
• Removing or securing small items, valuables, and fragile objects prior to our arrival
• Being present or having an authorized representative available during the entire service period
• Disclosing any special conditions or requirements for items requiring special handling
• Ensuring parking availability for our vehicles at both origin and destination

5.1 Care and Handling

Right Hand Man Moving LLC takes great care when handling your belongings. We treat every item with respect and attention to detail to minimize the risk of damage.

5.2 Limitations on Liability

By using our services, you acknowledge that:

• The customer assumes primary responsibility for damages during the moving process
• We cannot accept responsibility for damage to items that were packed by the customer
• Pre-existing damage to items is not our responsibility
• We cannot be responsible for internal damage to electronics or mechanical items
• Normal wear and tear may occur during the moving process
• Items of extraordinary value should be transported personally by the customer
• We cannot be responsible for structural damage to buildings during the moving process
• We are not responsible for damage due to acts of nature or other circumstances beyond our control

5.3 Damage Resolution

In the event of damage, we will work with you to find a fair resolution. Any claims must be reported within 7 days of service completion. Claims should include photographic evidence of damage and a description of the item's condition before the move.

6.1 Release of Liability

By using our services and/or website, you expressly release and forever discharge Right Hand Man Moving LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates, as well as SCLocalSites (the website developer and digital marketing provider), from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by you or your property while using our services or website.

This release extends to all aspects of our business relationship, including but not limited to:

• Any moving services provided
• Interactions with our staff
• Use of our website, including any technical failures or errors
• Any content, functionality, or design elements of the website developed by SCLocalSites
• Reliance on information provided on our website

6.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Right Hand Man Moving LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates, as well as SCLocalSites, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that such parties may incur as a result of or arising from your violation of these Terms of Service.

6.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Right Hand Man Moving LLC or SCLocalSites be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of our services or website.

Right Hand Man Moving LLC and SCLocalSites are not liable for any damages or injuries that may result from the failure to meet any specific requirements or expectations regarding our services unless expressly agreed to in writing.

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, and electronic transfers. For larger jobs, we may require a deposit to secure your booking.

If you fail to pay any amounts when due, we reserve the right to charge interest on all overdue amounts at a rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less, from the date when payment was due until the date of payment.

We do not transport the following items:

• Hazardous materials (including flammable, explosive, or corrosive items)
• Illegal substances or items
• Perishable food items
• Plants
• Pets or animals
• Items requiring climate control (fine art, certain musical instruments)

If you are unsure whether an item falls into these categories, please discuss with us before your scheduled service date.

We strive to provide quality service and value customer feedback. If you have concerns about any aspect of our service, please notify us immediately so that we can address them. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues in a fair and timely manner.

Our website (rhmmoving.com) is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Neither Right Hand Man Moving LLC nor SCLocalSites makes any warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the website's operation or the information, content, materials, or products included on the site.
